Moodle at Sampson Community College
The term "Moodle" stands for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment. This is the learning management system (LMS) Sampson Community College uses to deliver online, hybrid, web-assisted, NCVIP (information highway), and face-to-face courses.
Written instructions for accessing Moodle are provided at the bottom of this page. A video for logging into Moodle is provided directly below for your convenience.
SCC Moodle Browser Recommendation
The Distance Learning staff at SCC recommend you use Mozilla Firefox as your web browser when using Moodle. You may download it for free by clicking the following link: Free Mozilla Firefox Download.
IMPORTANT: Once you successfully log into Moodle for the first time, you will be required to change the original password assigned. Your new password must be at least eight characters long and must include at least one digit and at least one upper case letter. Your privacy is important to us at Sampson Community College and changing your password ensures that you and only you have access to your Moodle account. Make sure you create a password that no one else can easily figure out. It is very important that you remember your new password.
